Heritage Hills Baptist Church
Missions

Jesus commands Heritage Hills to take the gospel to the ends of the earth, and gave us a powerful model in Acts 1:8 that is local, regional, national, and global.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Heritage Hills is uniquely positioned to fulfill our worldwide mission through an Acts 1:8 vision. Understanding that the local church is at the very center of God's heart for reaching the world, we are mapping out our Jerusalem, our Judea, our Samaria, and our ends of the earth. We are discovering that we can literally change our world.

Jerusalem Opportunities: Within Our Community
 Our Father's Closet

We provide free clothing to those less fortunate in the community. We receive donations throughout the year, and volunteers sort the clothes by size so visitors can easily find what they need. Our Father's Closet is held the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:00pm-7:30pm. Pray for those who are truly in need to benefit from this ministry. Pray for opportunities to minister to, pray for, and provide for these families. Pray for God’s blessings on this ministry.

 Crossroads Community Baptist Church

We reach out to our neighborhood of Whitley City, Kentucky and surrounding areas by meeting people where they are with physical needs in order to address the spiritual needs. This is accomplished through several avenues of ministry, including lunches at the Lord’s Cafe, children’s outreach ministries (after-school tutoring and day camp), home repairs, clothing ministry, and more. Please continue to pray for God’s vision and resources to reach the area.

Georgia Baptist Children's Homes and Family

Through our programs of residential care, specialty ministries, and counseling centers, we are able to help children build a brighter tomorrow. Each year we give hundreds of children the tools they need—faith, love, structure, hope—to begin building a brighter tomorrow on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Pray for the children in our care, our staff as they minister to these children, and for God to provide resources needed to minister.

 Shepherd's Hill Academy

Shepherd’s Hill is a Christ-centered therapeutic residential program for teens in crisis. They live with us for a full year in rustic cabins that they help build, which keeps them away from technology for that year. We are in the middle of a court proceeding with Georgia Department of Transportation. Because of imminent domain, our campus was split in two for a four-lane divided highway. We would appreciate prayer for help in our upcoming trial.
