FROM THE LEADERSHIP TEAM - JUNE 1, 2020
HHBC Reopening: PHASE 1
Beginning Sunday June 14, 2020, (expected to last through June) we will open our church for the 11:00 am worship service ONLY. Entrance / Exit to the sanctuary will be through the sanctuary front doors. Doors will open (and be propped open) at 10:30 am. You are asked to still ‘social distance’ yourselves (along with your immediate family) from all others in attendance. This includes entering and exiting the building, and in sitting in the pews (sorry some may not be able to sit in your usual places). Pews will be marked indicating appropriate seating and spacing.
Childcare will be provide for babies – 4 year olds ONLY. You must call Cindy Bebout (404-597-6785) by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to Sunday service to register your child(ren). NO other childcare will be provided. If you will be using childcare, you will enter through the ELC entrance to sign in at the welcome desk. The child(ren) will have their temperature checked and if no fever, will be taken to their room. NO parents or other family members will be allowed to take their child(ren) to their room. Pick up will also be done at the welcome desk.
Our restrooms will not be in use. Should there be an emergency, the hallway bathrooms leading from the Narthex to the Fellowship Hall will be the only restrooms to be used. Should you need to visit the restroom(s), please ensure you remember to wash your hands prior to coming out and use a paper towel to open the door.
There will be two people standing at the outside doors directing people into the building and two at the doors leading into the Sanctuary. Another person will be down front to direct people to seating, working their way up towards the Narthex. The main aisle will be unavailable as it is used to live stream the worship service.
Once the worship service is over, you will be asked to depart in an orderly fashion remembering that ‘social distancing’ is still required. Please do not linger around in the sanctuary, Narthex, or in the parking lot.
Please remember, these steps are being put in place to help ensure our church family remains safe, secure, and healthy. If you feel that you cannot abide by this plan, have a temperature, feel sick, or are not comfortable in a public sitting yet, please stay home.
The Life Groups weekly lessons and daily devotionals for THE GOSPEL PROJECT are available to download for adults, students, and children for Sunday, June 7.
We want to take this time to remind you that this is a crucial time for Christians to pray for their church and to be strong in its financial support. You are encouraged to give online through E-GIVING or mail your contribution to the Church Office.
