Becoming a Member
If you believe that the Lord is leading you to become a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church, you can schedule a time with Pastor Tim to attend his “MyNext Class,” where he will learn more about you and your faith as well as introduce you to some information about what the beliefs of HHBC and the Southern Baptist Convention’s Baptist Faith and Message 2000 are.
You may request membership in one of three ways:
Baptism: Those who have been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and having a desire to obey Christ can choose to be scripturally baptized by full immersion.
Letter from Another Baptist Church: If you have been baptized by immersion and are a member in good standing of another Baptist church, your membership can be transferred by letter to Heritage Hills Baptist Church.
Statement of Faith: Those who have been baptized by full immersion but are not currently members of another Baptist church can make a statement of faith.
