Discipleship

Spiritual growth does not happen automatically. Part of spiritual growth happens in your personal life as you talk with God, read the Bible, and practice obeying what He says. Another part of your spiritual growth happens with the church. This is where we can help: we want to help you fulfill God's plans for your life.

 Ready to Launch
Ready to Launch

Based on Psalm 127, understand the role of prayer and how to cultivate a prayerful and God-dependent posture in your children; discover a “gospel-centered” approach to parenting; examine the difference between being child-centered and parent-centered; and address issues associated with rebellion, stages of discipline, and the notion of “grace-based” parenting.

 Unfolded: The Story of God
Unfolded: The Story of God

While the Bible is a collection of 66 books, the reigning theme that still holds eternal implications for our lives today is God’s powerful story of redemption. Explore this story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story. Though there are many heroes in the Old and New Testaments, you’ll discover the one true Hero of our faith: Jesus.

 Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis
Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis

Have you wondered how the creation story in Genesis fits with the evolutionary theories of popular science? You're not alone. Many Christians wrestle with the seeming disparity between faith and science. They want to believe the inerrancy of Scripture, but it's difficult to reconcile the two. This study seeks to resolve this conflict by answering key questions about the origin of human life, the evidence left by the fossil record, and how the findings of science line up with the Bible.

 Sermon on the Mount
Sermon on the Mount

What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? Matthew’s gospel opens with three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message – a sermon given to His disciples early in His ministry to articulate what the life of a Christ-follower would look like. Both practical and profound, the sermon asks of us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? What is the nature of true righteousness?
