Discipleship

Spiritual growth does not happen automatically. Part of spiritual growth happens in your personal life as you talk with God, read the Bible, and practice obeying what He says. Another part of your spiritual growth happens with the church. This is where we can help: we want to help you fulfill God's plans for your life.

Winter Discipleship Classes

Defined: Who God Says You Are
Defined: Who God Says You Are

When you introduce yourself to someone for the first time, you have an opportunity to define yourself. You disclose your name, profession, and interests. These factors help our culture define us, but are those answers enough? People are struggling in ten thousand ways because of identity issues. They can’t help but ask, Who am I? and Why do I matter? Can our culture really provide meaningful answers to those questions, or do we need something deeper and more significant? Scripture teaches that we are all made in the image of God. We do not define ourselves—the Creator does. We were all created to be known and loved by God. Once those answers are clear, we can move forward and discover all God has called us to be.

The True Love Project is an eight session video-driven Bible study for all students that provides an in-depth look at what the Bible has to say in regards to sex, purity, and romance. By starting with God's story and ending with sex, God's glory and one's mission, students will explore a number of topics that demonstrate the centrality of the gospel when it comes to defining one's purity.

Defined: Who God Says You Are (Kids)

Who am I? is a question that many kids are being challenged to answer. To answer this question, we must first ask, Who does God say I am? Beginning in Genesis, the Bible tells us that we are each made in God’s image, but that image has become distorted by sin. The only way to restore what was broken is through a relationship with Jesus. Through this study, kids will discover who God created them to be and what is true about their identity because of their relationship with Jesus.
