DR. TIM BARNETTE
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Tim Barnette has been the Senior Pastor of Heritage Hills Baptist Church since April 2022. He has been in Pastoral Ministry since 1994 and has over 30 years of pastoral experience to date. He has been an Associate Pastor of two churches in West Virginia, in addition to serving as the Senior Pastor of four churches spanning Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Pastor Tim has had extensive education through attending degree programs at several universities and seminaries. He first graduated with a Associate’s Degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology of West Virginia State University. He has achieved two Master’s Degrees including: a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary. He also has achieved two Doctorate’s including: a Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry in Theology from Covington Theological Seminary.
Pastor Tim has been married to his wife Kara since 1998, and they have three amazing kids: Christopher, John, and Anna. The heartbeat of Pastor Tim’s ministry is “to know Jesus and to make Him known” and to take the Gospel of the Jesus he knows throughout his community, his state, his country, and anywhere he may be in the world. When he’s not at HHBC, you can find him enjoying time with his family, hiking, or playing basketball.
